When locals think of sausages, they think of Mathie’s Meat Shoppe. This award winning butchery has earned a reputation for some of the best sausages, bacon, ham and meat in South Australia. Jason and Delvene Mathie purchased the existing butcher shop in 2008. Since taking over the business, they have received countless awards, accolades and praise for their quality of produce and customer service. Jason Mathie, AKA, ‘The Sausage King’, is a qualified butcher. He employs four full time butchers, two apprentices and a former chef to meet the needs of customer’s expectations. Mathie’s was crowned ‘National Sausage King Champions’ three years in a row, from 2011 to 2013 and is one of only six businesses inducted into the Hall of Fame (Australian Meat Council of Australia).
