Burra Regional Art Gallery
Situated within the old Telegraph and Post Office building from which J McDouall Stuart sent his message in Dec 1862, to inform the SA authorities that he had successfully crossed Australia. The S.T. Gill room has four major works by that artist of Burra in 1847 and 1850.
A volunteer manned and managed gallery, the building and external maintenance is provided by the Regional Council of Goyder and is open daily 1pm to 4pm.
