Explore the History of Grenache at Sevenhill Cellars

A rare and exclusive chance to explore the history of the Grenache variety at the oldest winery in the Clare Valley. Sevenhill Cellars winemaker Will Shields or Viticulturist Craig Richards will guide you through this three-hour experience and explore all aspects of the Grenache grape. They will take you to the 100-year-old vineyard, explain heritage clones, discuss soil variances and show you how elevation can affect the vines and the end product. Then, tour the underground cellar and hear the processes in producing their two Grenache products. Finally, you will go through a tasting shared with a regional produce platter.
