Visit the Model Trains Miniature Railway alongside Inchiquin Lake in Clare, explore Mintaro Maze for a fun day the whole family can enjoy or stay at Bungaree Station so children can enjoy a hands-on experience feeding the animals in the morning.

Sevenhill is a fantastic location to take the kids, with the Richardson Park Playspace (pictured) and oval acting as the centrepiece for the community for all ages to enjoy. The playspace is adjacent to the Riesling Trail and makes for a great space for adults to relax while their kids play.

Up for a game that tests your mind? Head to Blyth where you'll be 'locked up' with nothing but a puzzling story and your combined problem-solving skills to escape within the hour at the Blyth Breakout Escape Rooms. Different rooms are set at different difficulty levels, with Virtual Reality also on offer. When your brain starts thinking about food, head to their onsite 'Waffle Ward' for a sweet snack. 

Take the kids up to Burra and venture on the Burra Heritage Passport and explore Redruth Gaol, the Unicorn Brewery Cellars and the open-cut Burra Mine
