California Sunshine, play the best of the West Coast Super Groups: In the 1960s, a counter culture scene was forming in Laurel Canyon, a stones throw away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood Boulevard, it attracted hippies, dreamers and artists from far and wide. By the 1970s the scene had blossomed and the Canyon echoed with the sounds Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby Stills & Nash, Neil Young, Carole King, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, America and The Byrds, who made their home in the California Sunshine.The core of the band is the fabulous vocal harmony trio The Beggars, Stuart Day on guitar and vocals, Renee Donaghey on guitar and vocals, Quinton Dunne on bass and vocals, with additional musicians Kathie Renner on keys, guitar, and vocals, and Steve Todd on drums and
percussion.
